Field of Fun & Freedom

Welcome to the Field of Fun & Freedom, a secure one acre dog paddock in Swindon, Wiltshire. Bring your dog to our 6ft fenced field where they can run and be free offlead, safely under your supervision.

All the worries you and your dog encounter on regular dog walks can be forgotten. The field is a natural setting which includes wild flora and fauna, agility equipment, a handful of active rabbit burrows and Barkley Manor, our field shelter.

It was set-up by Sammy & Dave who run Food Fairies for Street Dogs & Cats, a voluntary organisation which helps street and rescue dogs and cats both here and abroad. The cause also runs sterilisation campaigns in Romania and India to reduce the amount of suffering  which these sweet souls endure through no fault of their own. In the designated car park, you will find a Donation Bin where food (both sealed and open bags are accepted) together with washed dog and cat clothing, beds, medicine and accessories can be donated. Duvets, towels and human bedding is not required.

Finding us

Happy Customers!

"We took our lurcher and newly adopted greyhound to FOFF (Field of Fun & Freedom) for a trial session and they had a brilliant time. There is more than enough space for sighthound zoomies and they both had fun investigating and sniffing around the trees and equipment. Us humans enjoyed the space too, especially Barkley Manor! It has been landscaped using the best possible materials with the dogs enjoyment and enrichment in mind"
